Drama unfolded in Damofalls yesterday when a woman claiming to be possessed by the spirit of the late Tapiwa Makore broke into a trance claiming that Tapiwa had sent her to tell everyone that he wanted his exhumation to be public.
This incident occurred when Police and it’s K9 unit raided a house in Damofalls belonging to murder suspect Thanks Makore in search of Tapiwa Makore’s missing head.
During the Police search, a large crowd had gathered curious to know what was taking places at Thanks Makore’s house. Police then started dispersing the crowd in order to preserve the possible crime scene, this is when the woman identified as Purity Chidziva (43) when into a trance ordering police to stop dispersing the crowd.
In a video taken at the scene by Purity Chidziva, who apparently is not related to Tapiwa started behaving as if she was possessed by Tapiwa.
I am Tapiwa Makore and I was murdered.
I want to be seen by everyone. Do not disperse people,” said the woman as she refused to move away from the scene
According to Purity later claimed that it was Tapiwa’s spirit that had been talking through her. She also said she wasn’t aware of what she had been saying.
7-year-old Tapiwa Makore was brutally murdered in October by Tafadzwa Shamba who with the help of the Uncle dismembered the boy’s corpse. The other body parts were found except the head.
