Newlywed Mai Titi recently took her husband Tinashe Maphosa to see her house which is still under construction.
Taking to social media, Mai Titi posted pictures of her house as she showed her husband around. Captioning the post she wrote;
“Happy Sunday ayiwa ndiriko kumboronga mhurika tichiita madevelopments sababa namai kudayi
yiwa tatichingoratidza baba pandakasvitswao naMwari ndichiri single ndikati daddy zvamauya mochindibetsera kuvaka mansion yandirikudaka Apa so far ndozvandakakwanisawo izvi mukadzi ahasi simbe anomira mira ka.”
Her post attracted a lot of praise from her followers who applauded her for being a hard worker and for inspiring them. However, a social media user only identified as MissLolo Chor advised her to separate that house from her marriage. She advised her to finish building her house by herself and start afresh with her husband.
“Zvakanaka hazvo but if I were you I would separate that property from the marriage! Ingopedza wega wopa vana and start afresh with Mr Maphosa! Zvekuti murume anopinda mu life mako une twunhu twako ozokupedzisira izvi zvakachemedza vakawanda! Please musandituke-ingori advise yakakosha to a newly wed!”
MissLolo Chor’s advice sparked debate about property ownership. Some agreed with MissLolo’s advice and affirmed that Mai Titi should safeguard the property she acquired before she got married to Tinashe Maphosa. They argued that considering Mai Titi’s history with relationships, it was the right thing to do.
