Roki’s Uchandifunga Music Video Breaks The Record 2 Million Views On YouTube
Roki’s controversial music video “Uchandifunga” has broken another record after amassing over 2 million views on YouTube.
The music video has amassed 2,6 million views in just 2 weeks and is currently trending as YouTube’s number 1.
The hit track has become the first one from a Zimbabwe-based musician to reach over 2 million YouTube views in only two weeks.
This comes just a couple of weeks after Roki had sparked controversy on social media after the same music video broke the local record as the fastest song to hit 1 million views in just four days.
Following this astonishing accomplishment, many social media users accused Roki of buying YouTube views.
However, self-styled prophet Passion Java together with urban grooves musician, Roki denied social media claims that they used YouTube view bots to boost view count
Responding to the claims, Passion Java said;
It’s embarrassing that as a country we’ve not had a video with one million views in one day.
Everyone knows my favourite artist is uncle Poptain. If I could buy views, it would probably for him.
I personally don’t have a video with one million views (on YouTube). Don’t you think if I could do it I would have bought some views for myself?
Meanwhile, Roki is set to release a track remix featuring Tanzanian BET award winner, Ray Vanny. He is also set to drop another collaboration with Congolese singer, Antoine Christophe Agbepa Mumba “Koffi Olomidé.”
