Chamisa's CCC Now A Serious Threat To ZanuPF 42 Years In Power

FEATURED OPINION CCC Now A Serious Threat To Mnangagwa 14 March 2022 Share It is now crystal clear that Citizens Coalition for Change has become a household name and a very big brand posing a serious threat to the ruling party in this short period since its birth. What happened at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera on Saturday where riot police blocked the CCC rally speaks volumes. How ironic is it that President Emmerson Mnangagwa called for peaceful elections when he was addressing his supporters in Karoi while turning a blind eye to the police which blocked Nelson Chamisa’s campaign rally in Marondera on Saturday? He indicates left while turning right. Previously, he has on several occasions denied the opposition permission to hold their rallies citing COVID-19 and it seem

Mwonzora Trying To Take Away Chamisa's New Party CCC Using A legal Loop Hole

With just a week in existence, CCC is staring down an ugly reality: the unrepresentative leadership trying to ride on inflated popularity…  Social media went crazy with the formation of the new name given to MDC. The CCC has started off on a very wrong footing and it needs to be guided into political maturity. The problem of politicians is that they want a democratic government but want undemocratic political parties. All opposition political parties in Zimbabwe are standing on undemocratic systems. This is seen in the dubious formation of the CCC which was formed with known rules or regulations guiding them. It was introduced to the people without any structures. The new political party has also started by manipulating the judiciary system. Already Thabani Mpofu, the l

Zanu-PF Claims CCC Represents Being Used By The Devil Or The Beast

Zanu PF has labelled Nelson Chamisa’s Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party “evil”, amid reports that the ruling party is panicking over the momentum that is accompanying the new opposition party. Chamisa and his followers last week dumped the MDC Alliance party after Douglas Mwonzora grabbed its name. This is despite the fact that Mwonzora had his own MDC-T party. To get rid of the name and party controversies the main opposition leader dumped MDC Alliance and its red colour and formed the CCC. The new party adopted the yellow and gold colours and its reflectors ahead of future elections. With by-elections around the corner, the CCC party has started popularising the name and colours. But Zanu PF has also started bad-mouthing its rival calling it an “e

Kasukuwere Says He Has Plan To Rescue Unhappy ZanuPF Members

Exiled former cabinet minister Saviour Kasukuwere said he ‘receives calls and pleas from disgruntled Zanu PF cadres on a daily basis’ adding that he devised a solution to help them and “save the revolutionary movement.” Kasukuwere alleges that Mnangagwa was “victimising” some ruling members while awarding those that defected from MDC better opportunities. “This issue of ill-treatment and injustice to cadres affects one’s conscience everyday. I receive calls and pleas from cadres on a daily basis. It weighs heavily, therefore, that a solution should be found for our comrades to live their normal lives without victimisation and ostracism,” Kasukuwere said in a statement on Monday. “Comrades, it appears those who have turned fr
